Morning pick-up from your hotel in Hiriketiya and drive towards Ella through the hill country. Enjoy views of the south coast giving way to lush tea plantations, with a scenic stop at Ravana Waterfall for photos and a short break.
Continue through the highlands, passing Ceylon tea estates and visiting a local tea shop or plantation. Depending on train times, board a short scenic train ride in the Ella area to experience Sri Lanka's famous railway views.
Visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge and, if time and fitness allow, take an easy hike to Little Adam's Peak for panoramic views over Ella and the surrounding mountains before driving towards Udawalawa.
Arrive at Udawalawa National Park for a private jeep safari. Look for wild elephants, buffalo, crocodiles, and a variety of birds. After the safari, drive back to Hiriketiya, arriving in the evening.
